Driven by a core research and engineering team with more than 36 years of combined experience in inorganic chemical synthesis, Ambition (Yunfu Hongzhi) was established in 2017 to bring that expertise to global markets.We commercialized a 25,000 m² smart manufacturing plant so that hard-won laboratory knowledge could be produced at industrial scale — without losing batch-to-batch consistency.The plant sits within a 33,350 m² site in the Yunfu Circular Economy Industrial Park, running five inorganic-powder lines and eight masterbatch lines around the clock. Our barium-sulfate process uses the barium-carbonate / sulfuric-acid route, which produces no harmful gases and no water-soluble salt by-products.As a dedicated zinc sulfide manufacturer and barium sulfate supplier, Ambition ships to formulators and compounders across Asia, Europe and the Americas. Why formulators choose zinc sulfide over harder white fillers

Zinc sulfide is the most important inorganic white pigment after titanium dioxide and zinc oxide — but its real value to modern engineers lies in what it does not do. With a Mohs hardness of around 3, zinc sulfide carries heat almost as well as alumina while behaving gently on screws, barrels and molds.In practice, zinc sulfide sits between titanium dioxide and ordinary extenders — brighter and more functional than a filler, yet gentler and more thermally active than a high-hardness white. Combined with barium sulfate it forms lithopone, but supplied as a controlled single-component zinc sulfide it hands the formulator precise command over hardness, heat and tone.

Non-abrasive thermal management

Thermal conductivity near 27 W/(m·K) — comparable to alumina — yet a fraction of the hardness, so zinc sulfide adds heat dissipation without wearing out processing equipment.

 

Clean dispersion & rheology

Soft texture and excellent wetting let our zinc sulfide grades disperse evenly in polymer and coating systems, reducing agglomerates and surface defects.

 

Thermal stability & weather resistance

Zinc sulfide improves the thermal stability of engineering plastics and acts as a durable, weather-resistant white — also an environmentally friendly long-term fungicide.

    Every batch of zinc sulfide and barium sulfate is produced on dedicated lines under an ISO 9001:2015 system and checked on laser particle-size analyzers and XRF spectrometers before release. We hold particle size, whiteness and purity to your agreed specification and keep the batch data on file, so the material you qualify is the material you keep receiving — shipment after shipment.
