Precipitated Barium Sulfate M-700 Series for Applications in Non-Electrical Radiation Cooling

Precipitated barium sulfate M-700 is synthesized via the sulfuric acid process. It features uniform particle size and low surface energy, ensuring uniform dispersion and preventing agglomeration in coatings while enhancing refractive index. Its ultra-high whiteness (L value > 99.5%), near-pure impurities, and absence of elemental and free sulfur endow products with high solar reflectivity (> 95%), acid and alkali resistance, low thermal conductivity, and high transmittance to 8-13 micrometer infrared radiation. In application, it can lower the temperature of products by 3-5°C, outperforming pure nano-SiO2 systems (92% reflectivity).
